Abstract
:
This study aimed to show the relation between marital compatibility and rehabilitation programs of the studied samples during pre-marriage period. The studied sample consists of 200 wives divided into two categories; the first category consists of 100 wives who have joined pre-marriage rehabilitation programs. And the second category consists of 100 wives who did not join these programs. To verify the objectives of the study, we have applied the scale of marital compatibility done by Mahmood Fallatah, 2008. and the researcher conducted free interviews for the two female categories. The study resulted in the following findings: 1 - There are significant differences between the average scores of wives who attended rehabilitation programs for pre-marital and wives who did not attend rehabilitation programs on a scale marital adjustment for wives who attended rehabilitation programs. 2 - There are no statistically significant differences between the average scores of wives who attended rehabilitation programs before marriage and wives who did not attend such programs on a scale marital adjustment variable depending on the level of education and economic level. 3 - There is no statistically significant link between marital adjustment and duration of marriage in years and the number of children with wives who attended rehabilitation programs before marriage. 4 - There is a statistically significant negative correlation between marital adjustment and the duration of the marriage the wives following years did not attend rehabilitation programs for pre-marriage. 5 - There is no statistically significant link between marital adjustment and the number of children with wives who did not attend rehabilitation programs
